The BL0940 is a built-in clock, calibration-free energy metering chip, suitable for single-phase multi-function energy meters, smart sockets, smart home appliances, electric bicycle charging piles, and other applications, offering high cost-effectiveness.
The BL0940 integrates 2 high-precision Sigma-Delta ADCs, reference voltage, power management, and other analog circuit modules, as well as digital signal processing circuits for active power, current and voltage RMS, and other electrical parameters.
The BL0940 can measure parameters such as current, voltage RMS, active power, and active energy. It can output fast current RMS (for leakage monitoring or overcurrent protection), temperature detection, waveform output, and other functions. Data is output via UART/SPI interface, fully meeting the needs of smart sockets, smart home appliances, single-phase multi-function energy meters, electric bicycle charging piles, and big data collection for electricity consumption information.
The BL0940 features a patented anti-creeping design, which, combined with a reasonable external hardware design, ensures that noise power is not counted into energy pulses when there is no current.
