Description: Long-range, low-power sub-GHz radio transceivers supporting LoRa®, Long Range FHSS, and (G)FSK modulations, designed for extended battery life with 4.2 mA active receive current and continuous frequency coverage from 150 MHz to 960 MHz.

Notes

  • SX1262 vs. SX1261: This pinout is for the SX1262IMLTRT specifically. The SX1262 can transmit up to +22 dBm; the SX1261 variant transmits up to +15 dBm. Pin assignments are identical between the two variants.
  • VR_PA: Maximum voltage is 3.1 V for SX1262 (vs. 1.35 V for SX1261). Ensure correct regulator configuration.
  • DIO Pins: DIO1, DIO2, and DIO3 are multi-function pins configurable for IRQ, RF switch control, or TCXO control via command interface.
  • VBAT_IO: Separate supply for DIO pins; can be tied to VBAT or VDD_IN depending on application requirements.
  • Exposed Pad (Pin 0): Must be soldered to ground for proper thermal and electrical performance.
  • Crystal: XTA/XTB pins require a 32 MHz crystal oscillator with appropriate load capacitance (see datasheet Section 4.1.3).

  • All RF impedances matched
  • Transmit mode output power defined into a 50 load impedance
  • FSK BER = 0.1%, 2-level FSK modulation without pre-filtering, BR = 4.8 kb/s, FDA = ± 5 kHz, BW_F = 20 kHz double-sided
  • LoRa® PER = 1%, packet 64 bytes, preamble 8 symbols, CR = 4/5, CRC on payload enabled, explicit header mode
  • RX/TX specifications given using default RX gain step and direct tie connection between Rx and Tx
  • Blocking immunity, ACR and co-channel rejection are given for a single tone (CW) interferer and referenced to sensitivity +3 dB
  • Optional TCXO and RF Switch power consumption always excluded

Throughout this document, all receiver bandwidths are expressed as 'double-sideband'. This is valid for LoRa® and FSK modulations.
